Israel, mhi@wustl.edu Earlier this year I sold a luxury condo in San Jose with the indispensable assistance of Simon Sahi. He was a wonderful realtor to work with, and I give him my highest endorsement. Anyone needing a realtor in that area could not do better than to work with Simon. He knows the market in that area, took care of cleaning up the condo to give an excellent impression to any potential buyer, kept in excellent contact with me guiding me in every step of the way – from deciding on a good asking price, filling out necessary forms for the HOA and the city, working with the trust company, responding to the buyer’s offer. He also interacted effectively with the potential buyer, getting from the buyer a cash offer above the asking price. All of this was done with me at long-distance. The condo in San Jose belonged to, and had been the residence of, a California relative for whom I had Power of Attorney, but I reside in the central US, about two thousand miles east of San Jose.

Simon did an exceptional job helping my mother, who lived out of state, purchase a condominium near me in the San Jose area. My mother's realtor in Arizona offered to research and reach out to several realtors in the Bay area. Simon was the ONLY realtor who returned her call and provided information on the property we were interested in. We connected with him immediately and he showed us the unit within a day. Simon helped us negotiate the deal and we were able to quickly close. My husband and I were impressed with Simon's efficiency. He responded immediately to every text and phone call. He also provided additional information, such as access to a cleaning professional, a locksmith, pertinent HOA information and gave us an introduction to the local property management. Even two months after closing, Simon helped us with a couple of issues we experienced with the unit. He even offered my mother is phone number in case of an emergency! Simon sold my parents’ condo within a few days of my father’s (unexpected) passing. My father spoke highly of him and throughout this process, I understand why. Simon let’s his work speak for itself, and this is true. He took the time to make sure I (and my father) understood everything and was comfortable with the decisions made each step of the way, from the open house to getting an offer $90K over asking price, to completing the necessary paperwork to close the sale, and just making sure I was okay throughout this difficult time. He really went above and beyond and was a wonderful ally for me through this whole process. Simon made the process of buying a new home so much easier than the horror stories I had heard from my friends. I was expecting it to take a long time, but he willing knew how to negotiate to make the sellers have to respond quickly. He connected me with a few mortgage lenders and title company as well so that process so I didn’t spend a lot of time spinning my wheels trying to find who to go with. If you're looking for a high touch, high energy, get-it-done type realtor, Simon Sahi is your man. With Simon's help, my partner and I were able to find and close a great house in less than 2 months. We were first time home buyers and started looking for houses in late June. Zillow connected us with Simon and we toured a half a dozen houses in areas we were interested in. After that, we made an offer for a home we felt very comfortable with, and had it accepted in early July. We closed at the beginning of August on time. All in all, the process was fast moving and smooth. As first time home buyers, we were nervous making such a big decision as well as making sure that we weren't missing key steps and details. Simon was able to provide the needed information to alleviate our concerns. He also introduced us to our loan officer who helped us find a great mortgage rate. Even after shopping around, we ended up going with the officer he recommended. Throughout this process, Simon was immediately available for any questions or concerns. Often we would ask to see houses late in the week and Simon was able to work out the showing details the same day we requested. Moreover, Simon was also very good at spotting the aspects of our home that we cared about, and efficiently found houses that suited our preferences. In particular, I really appreciated his ability to show us houses we didn't know we wanted. With only a few showings, Simon helped us develop our sense of whether a house is a clear "yes" or "no". We're very pleased with the house we purchased--now a very satisfying new home. No process is perfect. It's important to be mindful of customer personalities and making sure that they feel valued and respected--we had an early interaction that made things difficult on that front. However, Simon is very adaptable and responsive when given feedback, and we were able to work out the issue amiably. We were incredibly fortunate to work with Simon as part of our first home buying experience. He is high energy, very responsive, and works hard to help you achieve your objective. I definitely recommend him for your realtor needs. :)

We met Simon through zillow. In the beginning, we were not determined on which area to look for and so had to schedule lots of tours at three different cities (bedford, palo alto, los altos). Simon was always very responsive and quickly arranged tours even for the last minute requests. Whenever we have questions, we could get his help in less than an hour. If you are looking to buy or sell your home, you need Simon! I was referred to Simon from a friend of mine, and me being new to the concept of buying a home, I was nervous. I knew I wanted to buy a home for my family and I but I didn’t know really where to start, or what to expect. I needed a  lender, and Simon helped get me approved with an amazing lender, who worked my complicated loan terms. Once I got approved Simon was straightforward with me in showing me how the market works, and what I may need to offer in order to get in on a great property, given the crazy competitive market of the South Bay. Simon is AMAZING!!!! Being a first time homebuyer, it is safe to say that we had no idea what we were doing. Not only was Simon very patient with us, but he took the time to explain everything so we could learn along the way. We started with a couple of different properties that we were interested  in and Simon helped us narrow it down to one, giving valuable insights about each property. He took the time time draw up reports about each property and get in contact with their agent to gain helpful insights. We really felt like he took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for, and he helped us find our dream home. Once we narrowed it down to one home, Simon worked day and night with the other agent to negotiate and make sure we were able to get our home before the property even became open to offers. Because of this, Simon was able to win the property, even though there were over 15 different parties interested in it. Simon dedicated his time and knowledge to working within the time frame we provided, making sure that we were able to move in before I started my new job and before our lease on our other home expired.
